Today is International Day of Persons with Disabilities. A day when we get together and celebrate our community. I want to hear about how you celebrated! I want to hear about the events you attended or the contributions you made just by being you!
I’m wondering if you had the chance to see inclusivity, representation, and community building during the gatherings. I’m curious to know if the events you attended acknowledged diverse challenges and embraced intersectionality. Tell me about organizations that went beyond education to use this important day to address systemic issues and contribute to justice.
